Membership
Membership is optional for all those choosing to attend Unity
Church of Wimberley. All are welcome. Becoming a member is a
spiritual decision to take ownership in the development of our church community.
Membership Requirements
Requirements for Membership at
Unity
Church
of Wimberley include these steps:

Complete and turn in your New Member Application
which includes this pledge:
"Yes! I would like to become a member of
Unity
Church
of Wimberley! I commit to supporting this church through my prayers and by
regularly attending services, giving of my time and my talent in service to
the church, attending classes and workshops to enhance my spiritual growth,
and making financial contributions in proportion to my income. I make
this commitment knowing that the love of God in my heart brings forth all of
my good. Thank you God!"

Attend a New Member Orientation class (see class
scheduled below)

Acceptance of application by our Board of Trustees and
optional participation in our New Member Reception (see reception schedule below).
Quarterly Schedule--New Member Orientation Class & Reception

Orientation Class: Sunday, October 5, 2008 1-2 pm in the Sanctuary.
Facilitated by Rev. Linda Pendergrass.

Reception: Sunday, October 12, 2008 as part of the 11 am Service.
