Calling all volunteers!
We have so many new Uni-Kids in our church now that I am
recruiting volunteers to commit to lead a class for one Sunday a month. I would like to split the Uni-Kids into two groups (K-2 and 3-5). Please call me if you are moved to volunteer with either age group. Uni-Kids volunteers are the greatest need right now however, there are also volunteer openings in the Uni-Teen (6th-8th) and Y.O.U. (9th-12th) groups.

Update
We have had to defer to Mother Nature.
Due to an unusually warm spring and the drought we have had to let the garden go.
We have big plans to try again in fall!

We have planted sage, onion sets and spinach seeds.

God is first in our lives so we do not have to worry about the details.
The Scared Seed
written and illustrated by Unikids of Unity of Wimberley
Once upon a time there was a seed named Alesandra that was scared she wouldn't grow.
Alesandra was afraid. She was worried. She was afraid of the dark earth.
Alesandra was a black bean. Its brothers and sisters were tomato seed, pepper seeds, onion seeds, pineapple seeds and cilantro seed.
The seeds had everything they needed to grow and were not worried anymore because they trusted in God.
They were cut up and made into salsa. Yummy!
The end.

Masaru Emoto ,
born July 22, 1943 is a Japanese author known for his claim that if human speech or thoughts are directed at water droplets before they are frozen, images of the resulting water crystals will be beautiful or ugly depending upon whether the words or thoughts were positive or negative. Emoto claims this can be achieved through prayer, music or by attaching written words to a container of water.
